T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 also gets release date in US

Galaxy S4

T-Mobile is the latest carrier to talk about something from Samsung in the form of a Galaxy S4 release date and is offering the flagship device at the lowest price so far. We just saw other network operators AT&T and U.S. Cellular put the handset up for pre-order and confer upon it a launch date of April 30.

The smartphone will come to eager fans in the US with Android Jelly Bean version 4.2.2 and have a 5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display for company. On the back, there will be a 13MP snapper with auto focus and flash, capable of interesting functionality to say the least. The 2MP webcam on the front can capture video in 1080p.

Under the hood, a 1.9GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chip will keep things running smoothly, while 2GB of RAM will definitely help. Internal storage choices amount to 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants. And of course, it will be compatible with the network operator’s 4G LTE service, and there will be a host of connectivity options.

It seems T-Mobile, in addition to recently bringing the iPhone 5 to its stables, is also set to outdo other carriers regarding the MRP and the time frame when its customers can get their hands on the device. It will be available for $149.99 with monthly payments for a period of two years, and is set to be released on April 24.

And just like the iPhone 5, the Samsung device will also get the benefit of the carrier’s Simple Choice Plan. This starts at a base rate of $50 per month and includes unlimited web, text and talk, with 500MB of data at up to 4G speeds. 2GB of 4G data can be added for an additional $10 payment every month, while unlimited 4G data will set customers back by $20 per month more.
