The much awaited price details for the LG Optimus L9 are out and the T-Mobile handset will be hitting availability status starting today. This Android Ice Cream Sandwich powered smartphone is based on the South Korean conglomerate’s L-Style design philosophy which ties together a stylish appearance with a slim form factor.
The handset’s arrival was made known earlier this month by the carrier. The sleek frame employed here is 0.36 inches thick and it features a metal trim surrounding, while the overall weight amounts to 4.2 ounces. Fitted on the front of this LG device are a 4.5-inch qHD touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and a VGA camera for video calling.
The rear sports a 5MP snapper which, according to the company, features ‘True-to-Life’ 1080p HD video recording. Users will also be able to capture footage and snap up images at the same time. A dual core processor clocked at 1GHz takes charge of getting things done and there’s a 2,150mAh battery in tow to power up all aforementioned components. On a single charge, the Optimus L9 can deliver up to 15 hours of talk-time or 28 days of standby.
The LG Optimus L9 will be available through T-Mobile in 2 options. The first one includes a Value Plan with a $49.99 retail tag, 20 equal payments of $15 per month and a 2-year contract. On a Classic Plan, potential buyers will have to shell out $79.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate. A service agreement is needed here as well.
