After Virgin Mobile, Sprint and MetroPCS, T-Mobile has revealed the LG Optimus F3 release date which will be falling on August 7. The LG phone’s price details have not been revealed, but the service provider has announced that it will be available with a down payment of $0 for a limited time, wherein prospective customers are required to pay monthly installments of $10 for a period of two years.
Users will also be required to select a Simple Choice Plan and they can opt for one based on their preferences with regards to the number of lines or the amount of data they require. For $50 per month excluding taxes and fees, subscribers can expect unlimited talk, text and web along with 500MB data with the Optimus F3. By paying up $10 per month for every line they add, they get additional 2GB of data on their current plans. And for a monthly cost of $20 per line, the network provider offers unlimited 4G data usage. In case you want another phone line, you will have to pay up $30 every month and for lines added after that you will be charged $10 for each on a monthly basis.
The F3 is a compact device measuring 4.57 x 2.46 x 0.4 inches and accommodating a 4-inch display on the front panel. Based on the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean platform, the phone is powered by a dual core processor running at a speed of 1.2GHz. Although the handset’s internal memory amounts to merely 1.24GB, it can be bumped up further by up to 32GB using a microSD card.
Featuring dual cameras, the phone possesses a VGA webcam as well as a 5MP auto focus snapper with LED flash. And as the device is integrated with a 2460mAh battery, the company says that it can offer talk time of around 16 hours on a single charge.
The Optimus F3 will be released on August 7 in the US.
