The T-Mobile HTC One S which will soon be coming to the U.S., was recently unveiled at the ongoing MWC in Barcelona. This offering carries Ice Cream Sandwich blended with HTC Sense 4, just like the One X.
The integrated 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chip and the handset’s 4G capabilities should take to delivering quick connectivity and utility for those on the move. The specs sheet indicates 16GB internal storage backed by 1GB RAM, while multimedia content can be viewed on the phone’s 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED touchscreen. Additionally, the sleek 7.95mm chassis with its aluminum unibody design should undoubtedly supply the eye-candy for those into skinny phones.
“People take photos on their phone more than any activity other than making phone calls, which is why we improved every part of the camera experience on HTC One S,” shares Jason Mackenzie, president, global sales and marketing, HTC Corporation. “We’re thrilled to bring our combination of our premium design, amazing camera and authentic sound to T-Mobile customers in the U.S.”
Besides proffering HSPA+ connectivity and being fitted with a 1650mAh battery, the handset has also been embedded with an 8MP primary camera. Full HD recording capabilities, BSI for capturing images in low-light and single LED – Smart Flash are some of the other attributes of the snapper. On the other hand, the front facing camera possesses the ability to record videos in 720p resolution. With the incorporated HTC ImageSense technology, improvements to the lens, sensor and software are also on the cards.
The T-Mobile HTC One S release date and price details have not been spelled out clearly, but it can be expected to arrive at the carrier’s stores in the U.S. this spring.
