Swipe Halo Value + tablet brings voice calling for below Rs 7,000

The Swipe Halo series has received a new addition through the Value + tablet which has recently showed up on the company’s website. Based on the details made available, the device will cater to the entry-level segment delivering a decent slate experience with voice calling at an affordable rate.

The main competitors here are the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 2 and 3 series from Samsung and the Lenovo A1000 which retails for as low as Rs 6,969. The Swipe Halo Value + runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean which is accessible through a 7-inch 16:9 display that proffers visuals in 480 x 800p resolution. Where the design is concerned, the device weighs 380 grams and it measures 192mm x 116.8mm x 11.3mm in dimensions.

Swipe Halo Value Plus

There are dual cameras here, a 2MP snapper on the rear and a VGA webcam on the front for video calling. Powering up the tablet is a dual core 1.2GHz processor coupled with 512MB of DDR3 RAM. Before the Halo Value +, Swipe had launched the MTV Slate that’s powered by a quad core A7 processor,. The company also announced the Smart Flo Ivory 2 and Edge budget smartphones today making them available at Rs 4,099 and Rs 3,099, respectively.

The Swipe Halo Value + is currently available for purchase through the company’s website for Rs 6,699.
