Sprint is currently offering potential users in the US an exclusive wireless package that combines a Lenovo IdeaPad U310 Ultrabook with 3G/4G mobile hotspot. What’s more, the bundle comes with three months of free mobile broadband for just about $799.99, excluding taxes.
The current 3G/4G mobile hotspot choices paired with the notebook are MiFi by Novatel Wireless and Overdrive Pro from Sierra Wireless. These devices are compatible with two data plans starting at $34.99 per month with up to 3GB of data and a $49.99 one delivering a total of 6GB 3G as well as 4G combined data.
“Sprint is uniquely positioned to bring our customers an aggressively priced Ultrabook, powerful 3G/4G mobile hotspot and easily affordable mobile broadband rate plan that offers a significant savings compared to our competitors,” commented David Owens, vice president – Product Development, Sprint. “Lenovo IdeaPad U310 Ultrabook paired with a Sprint 3G/4G mobile hotspot is an incredible value and gives a small business or student going back to school this fall the ability to get work done at an easily affordable price.”
The Ultrabook is designed with an 18mm thin form factor and weighs a little less than 4 pounds. The notebook is fitted with a 13.3-inch HD display and is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor with 3000 HD graphics in tow. Other features employed here include an HD webcam, stereo speakers with Dolby Home Theater V4, an AccuType keyboard and a glass touchpad.
The Lenovo IdeaPad U310 with 3G/4G mobile hotspot price amounts to $849.98, while the monthly rental varies based on the wireless module and subscription type from Sprint. The bundle is available for purchase through the carrier’s online store and requires a two-year mobile broadband service agreement.
