Students, Sprint and Best Buy have an offer for you this holiday season. If you choose to buy a Sprint phone from a Best Buy store, the carrier will let you use its services free of charge for a period of an entire year. This is a limited time scheme and is valid only until January 4.
It is mandatory to pick up a Sprint phone from the retailer in question for the offer and potential buyers are required to pay the Student Activated Price too. Also, they need to get a new line of service with the Unlimited, My Way Plan. Students can expect unlimited talk and text on all handsets under the scheme and 1GB of data usage if they opt for a smartphone.
One of the biggest advantages is that they are not asked to sign a two-year agreement and this scheme apparently helps them save up to $70 per month. They will obviously have to fork out the amount for the phone, monthly taxes and surcharges as well as the aforementioned activation fee which is $36. In case 1GB of data is not enough, they can get more by shelling out $10 per month.
Furthermore, prospective customers can make the most of in-store trading options and return their old devices for a discount on the new one. And if they own a Best Buy Credit Card, there are some more offers such as 18-month financing or five percent rewards to consider. And for an additional year of free service, students can get referral customers who need to activate a new line on Unlimited, My Way or My All-in plans before January 4 with a two-year agreement.
The Sprint and Best Buy is only meant for students and is already underway. Interested users can visit bestbuy.com/sprintstudentoffer for more information.
