India-based smartphone OEM, Spice, has revealed three new handsets for the budget-minded, namely the Stellar Mi-503, Stellar Mi-507 and Stellar Mi-516. The new lineup has popped up on the company’s website and is yet to hit stores where they will be priced between Rs 6249 and Rs 7999.
The Spice Stellar Mi-503 is the cheapest amongst the three smartphones. Priced at Rs 6249, it offers a generously-sized IPS display of 5 inches with FWVGA visuals. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and gains steam from a 1.3GHz dual core processor.
Memory provisions here are pretty basic with 512MB worth of RAM and 4GB worth of storage space. However, what’s mainly disappointing is that the handset doesn’t have 3G support. On the upside, the phone offers an 8MP rear camera and a 3.2MP front snapper. There’s also a 2000mAh battery onboard.
Next up is the Rs 6999 Stellar Mi-507 which has specs similar to those of the Mi-503, except for the lower capacity 1800mAh power pack and the inclusion of 3G connectivity which comes at the extra price. The phone’s design is also different. Last on the list is the Stellar Mi-516 that costs Rs 7999 and offers slightly better features.
