Spectec has launched a connector that fits into the SD slot of a pocket PC and enables you to display video from a Pocket PC onto larger screens, such as computer screens and projectors.
The connector can be connected to the screens via VGA or s-video (NTSC or PAL) using an adapter that is included.
The output has a maximum resolution of 1024×768 at ‘full color’ and can even be previewed on the handheld’s screen which is handy when running something like a PowerPoint presentation.
A remote is included with the device with which you can play and pause, and fast-forward and rewind video. The SDV-841 model uses the mini SD slot, while the SDV-842 uses the micro SD slot.
