Along with new flagship smartphones, Sony is also expected to launch fresh low-cost handsets and the Xperia E4 could be the first to go official in the new lineup. The device has made its appearance in a leak and a great deal of information about it has been revealed.
The Sony Xperia E4 is the fourth member of the popular entry-level lineup and it continues the tradition of delivering a premium design at an affordable price. Well, the official retail tag for the phone is still a mystery. But we do know that the handset will be an eye-catchy one.
As you can see in the image above, the device takes on the OmniBalance approach which is also used for its flagship Xperia Z series. GSMArena is reporting based on information provided by Teleguru that the phone will have a high quality plastic construction with a ceramic feel.
Like its predecessors, the Xperia E4 will also arrive in multiple variants. For now, we know that it will go official with the model number E2105 which carries a single SIM card slot and the E2115 that has dual SIM housings. Android 4.4.4 KitKat will ship with the device and an update to version 5.0 Lollipop will reportedly arrive in first half of 2015.

The Sony Xperia E4 is expected to make its debut at the MWC 2014 and it’s most likely to reach the market by the end of March for around $200.
