Sony’s CES 2015 reveal had no new smartphones to showcase and this more or less confirms that we’ll be seeing the Xperia Z4 at the MWC 2015 which will take pack in March this year and not February. And while we wait, there are new leaks on the highly anticipated Xperia Z4 flagship.
The latest information which comes via ePrice, suggests that the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 will be available in to different options. One will carry a 1080p FHD display of 5.2 inches, while the second model will have a QHD 2K panel. The former phone will most likely be for international markets, while the latter will be destined for the US and probably a few other locations.
This more or less explains why we’ve been seeing multiple leaks on the handset showing conflicting screen information. There’s a possibility that the two Sony devices may have other differences in hardware and design. The 2K model is likely to come with a larger screen of 5.5 inches if it’s to make the most out of the 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution.

The image you see above is supposedly of the Xperia Z4 which got leak due to the recent hack. Additionally, the picture embed below is also said to have surfaced owing to the same issue and there are other renders as well, from different sources. So we’re still in the dark with regards to what the device will look like. So far, we’ve seen a model with Snapdragon 805 and 3GB of RAM and another having Snapdragon 810 with 4GB RAM.
While the difference between the Xperia Z2 and Z3 are minimal, the Sony Xperia Z4 will indeed be a major upgrade and probably the only flagship for this year.
