The Sony Xperia T, TX, V and SP are some of the lucky few which will be receiving the Android Jelly Bean 4.3 update either by the end of this month or early February. The Japanese company had confirmed that a slew of devices will be getting the software upgrade back in July itself and the first wave of gadgets including the Xperia Z, ZL, ZR and Tablet Z have even started receiving it.
A tweet by Sony Xperia News says that the company is currently making final preps for releasing the update. All of these handsets fall in the mid-range category and have not been updated to Jelly Bean 4.2. The Android 4.1-based gadgets will directly be treated to the version 4.3 of the operating system.
A lot of companies have already started rolling out the KitKat update for their devices and Sony hasn’t seeded this software to any of its smartphones as yet. But we have heard that at least the Tablet Z and the Xperia Z1 are expected to host Android 4.4 pretty soon. Back in November, the company had asked users to look forward to details regarding the updates and now that a lot of handsets have reached the 4.3 milestone, they should gear up for the next one.

And what’s more, the same Twitter handle has also revealed that the Sony Xperia L is now getting Jelly Bean 4.2. Its owners can look forward to some performance tweaks and an updated camera apart from a fresh new user interface.
As we said, the Jelly Bean 4.3 update for the Sony Xperia T, TX, V and SP will begin rolling out pretty soon.
