It has come a little later than expected, but the Sony Xperia M5 has indeed arrived in India now in the form of its dual SIM model. This device has been priced by its makers at Rs 37990, and is known for being waterproof owing to its IP65 and IP68 certifications.
The Sony Xperia M5 will start popping up in the Indian market in the coming days in the form of black and gold color options. It runs the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS which has of course been layered with the company’s much loved software skin.
One of the highlights of this Sony smartphone is the fact that it carries on its front surface a 13MP autofocus camera for selfies and video calling. Its 2-day battery life is also touted by its makers moreover. This is achieved thanks to a 2600mAh power unit that has been packed inside it.
The Xperia M5 also features a 21.5MP rear camera offering 0.25-second hybrid autofocus tech. The phone showcases its visuals on a 5-inch 1080p full HD display, and runs on the combination of a 2GHz octa core MediaTek Helio X10 processor and 3GB of RAM. There’s 16GB of storage space present as well, apart from a microSD card slot.
