Sony Xperia E1 Dual now up for sale in India, E1 shows up ahead of its release date

The Sony Xperia E1 Dual smartphone has landed in India as was expected and it is currently up for sale through select online retailers. But that’s not all. Its single-SIM sibling, E1 which was slated to be made available on March 25, has surfaced online as well. The former is available for a discounted price of as low as Rs 9,740, while the latter is slightly expensive at Rs 9,990.

Especially meant for music-lovers, the Sony Xperia E1 has been pre-loaded with the Walkman application complete with key and shake controls and the phone even makes the most of ClearAudio+ and xLoud. The compact handset featuring a 4-inch screen, shows off soft curves and can be picked up in shades like black, white and purple.

The 1.2GHz dual core Qualcomm MSM8210 processor is responsible for making the Sony device capable of multitasking and it is accompanied by 512MB of RAM. A 3MP camera has been placed on the rear panel and potential buyers can look forward to the Jelly Bean 4.3 OS. The device employs a battery complete with the Stamina mode to cough up the juice for talk time of over 9 hours.

The Sony Xperia E1 Dual has been officially priced at Rs 10,490, but can be purchased for Rs 9,899 at Infibeam and Rs 9,740 at Flipkart. The single-SIM E1 is pegged at Rs 9,490 by the company and it can currently be seen as available on Flipkart for Rs 9,990.
