The Sony Xperia C670X is an upcoming Android smartphone which recently got leaked and based on the latest findings we’re somewhat certain that the company is already working on high-end devices that are likely to outperform the current flagship. The handset is said to operate on the Jelly Bean 4.2 platform and pack in the latest offering from Qualcomm.
The Xperia C670X smartphone falls in the same category as the recently unveiled HTC One. It’s speculated to carry a 4.8-inch display which will possess a full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. And to keep up with the competition, the company is expected to deploy the device with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 SOC, the APQ8064T chipset to be more accurate, that will carry the Krait processor in a quad core configuration with a clock speed of 1.8GHz and the Adreno 320 graphics.
On the memory front, the company hasn’t held back either. 2GB of RAM means more space for application to run efficiently and enhanced multitasking, while 32GB of integrated storage is quite sufficient for hoarding needs. Whether or not the handset possesses expansion capabilities or a microSD card slot is yet a mystery. But the leak does suggest that it will come with a 13MP Exmor RS camera.
The guys over at Xperia Blog have obtained the aforementioned information through a tipster who was also responsible for providing screenshots of the Xperia Z running Android 4.2.2. A render of the device in question was also supplied. However, the image turns out to be the very same picture the company implemented into is set up guide for the current flagship. So there’s no concrete evidence on how the handset might look. But we’re guessing that it won’t be much different from the Z.
Last month itself, 2 smartphones from the Japanese conglomerate showed up in the rumor mill. First was the C6802 which could carry a FHD display and operate on Jelly Bean 4.2. It is also speculated to be the successor to the Z and ZL. Additionally, the SP C530X created quite a buzz online as well.
