Sony has found a way to cash in on the selfie trend by offering its Xperia C3 smartphone which comes loaded with a 5MP front-facing camera and an LED flash. The device is also being touted with various preloaded features so that you can ‘create and share the best selfies.’
The front snapper on the Sony Xperia C3 futures a wide-angle lens of 25mm and it has an 80 degree field of view. This will allow you to get more of the surroundings or fit extra faces into the flame. Also, the soft LED flash works to deliver well-lit images under different lighting. To make the device all the more attractive, the company has thrown in various smart camera apps.
First up is Portrait Retouch v2 which allows you to give yourself a makeover in real-time before snapping up a selfie. Then there’s Timeshift-burst that lets you select the best image from 31 frames, while AR Effects lets you get creative with virtual accessories (check out the video below for more details). You’ll also be able to create Vines and broadcast videos in real-time on Facebook through Social Live.
