Sony Vaio P series netbook unwrapped

Sony Vaio logo

Just a few days back we had reported of a Sony Vaio laptop readying to take on the PC market. Sony could wait no longer as they have let the cat out of the bag. After releasing the countdown page, the company has accidentally leaked details of the new netbook apparently called Sony P series netbook on its SonyStyle site.

The netbook has a significant name where the ‘P’ stands for Pocket. This means the netbook will supposedly fit in your pocket. The netbook will apparently be dressed in three hues namely crimson red, champagne gold and black silk.

Powered by an Intel Atom 1.33GHz processor, the novel P series netbook features a 8-inch LED screen, 1600×768 resolution, 60GB hard drive and Windows Vista Premium or Windows Vista Home Basic in place of Linux.

As for pricing and release details, guess we might have to wait for the CES showcase of the laptop in January 2009.
