It was just a few days back that Sony accidentally revealed the Xperia Z4 Tablet and now the company has done something similar, but on purpose. We’ve already gotten a small peak at the upcoming slate through the previous mishap and the Japanese OEM is giving us yet another look at the device through a new teaser.
Well, the latest picture isn’t as revealing as the previous one, but something is better than nothing. Unlike LG, HTC and Samsung which will be holding launch events on March 1, the company in question plans to reveal its latest devices a day later, or so suggests the teaser. The Twitter post shows a large device which very well could be Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet and notes that ‘all will be revealed’ on the 2nd of next month.
It also mentions the words ‘slimmer, lighter and brighter,’ all of which are confirmed features for the Sony tablet. Now, let’s talk a little more about the above image. The device you see is certainly very slim and we expect it to be under 6.4mm since the Z2 Tablet and Z3 Tablet Compact, both shared this same thickness.
Additionally, the teaser shows that the device will have extremely slim bezels. Sony has already confirmed a 2K display for the Xperia Z4 Tablet and we also know that the slate will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 810 SOC. And we even expect to see a pretty large battery onboard.
Here’s a roundup of the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet’s known specs:
– Android 5.0 Lollipop
– 3GB RAM, 32GB storage
– 10.1-inch 2560 x 1440 pixel 2K LCD panel
– 13MP rear camera, 8MP front shooter
– 2GHz octa core Snapdragon 810 processor
Accompanying the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet on March 2 will be a new flagship smartphone series and various other devices.
