According to Engadget, these earbuds from Sony are comfortable and sport a trendy look. They are embedded with an in-line noise-canceling module and comprise of three modes. These include an airplane mode, general mode and a mode for buses, cars or trains. Apparently, the company claims that these state-of-the-art earphones will cut up to 99% of the unwanted sound.
The MDR-NC300D headset runs on only one AA battery and offers users approximately 20 hours of pure non-stop music without the undesired noise. The earphones boast of a cord length of about 1.2m. Consumers can also choose from 7 different types of earpieces ranging from small to large. The earphones are available in a convenient carrying case and come fully equipped with clip, extension cord and plug adapter for the aircraft.
The Sony noise-canceling headphones are expected to hit shelves on June 21, 2009 for a suggested price of approximately $415. The price is still however under wraps.
