Sony is one step behind the internet where the Xperia Z1 Honami is concerned. While the Japanese conglomerate slowly teases bits and pieces of the upcoming flagship, revelations of the device’s design, features and hardware have already made it online. But it isn’t going to just give up and unveil the phone as yet, notably because the teasing has just begun.
A new video has hit YouTube which basically shows off every nook and cranny of the Xperia Z1 Honami, in even more details than those high quality images which leaked a few days back. The clip highlights that the device will sport a G-Lens camera, water-proofing and most importantly, a dedicated shutter button for the 20MP snapper. The company has even reworked its tag line which now reads, ‘The best of Sony is about to get even better.’ And then there’s the usual boasting like, ‘Think you know what a smartphone can do? It’s time to think again.’ A link to a registration page which can be found by clicking here, has been placed in the description.
Here are the specifications of the Xperia Z1 Honami in a nutshell – The device will pack a Triluminos screen, a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 SOC, 2GB of RAM and a 3000mAh battery amongst others. Additionally, the company is reportedly working on a mini variant of the flagship which will feature similar specifications like the latest Qualcomm processor and the same camera as well as other components found in the larger sibling.
The September 4 launch for the Xperia Z1 Honami has been confirmed by Sony and a latest rumor has suggested that the device will land in India on the 18 of next month.
