Sony Ericsson announced the TM506 flip phone for T-Mobile customers in US. The phone is expected to hit the market in early September.
The clamshell phone is small enough to easily fit into the pocket. The TM506 comes with an external display which allows users to see the caller ID at a glance without opening the phone.
A stylish TM506 features 2.0 Megapixel camera and Bluetooth connectivity. Besides, the phone also has built-in aGPS, TeleNav Navigator, an application from T-Mobile which will allow users to always identify their location easily. In addition, the phone features Memory Stick Micro (M2) slot enabling users to expand phone’s memory.
“The TM506 not only signifies Sony Ericsson’s expanding U.S. portfolio of handsets, but more importantly, that we have forged a strong and promising relationship with T-Mobile,” said Najmi Jarwala, president of Sony Ericsson North America. “With the launch of the TM506 with T-Mobile, Sony Ericsson is positioned to offer more choice of mobile handsets for a broader range of U.S. consumer segments at a variety of price points.”
The Sony Ericsson TM506 phone will be exclusively available at T-Mobile starting next month. The pricing information has not been revealed as of now.
