Sonos unveiled its latest ZonePlayer 120 (ZP120) and the Sonos ZonePlayer 90 (ZP90 ) wirelessly music players, which the company claims delivers state-of-the-art multi-room music experience.
The latest ZonePlayers integrate SonosNet 2.0, a wireless mesh network technology that doubles the wireless range of the Sonos Multi-Room Music System.
“Sonos’ mission is to fill every house—and every room—with music,” said Phil Abram, President and Chief Operating Officer, Sonos. ”These new products continue Sonos’ heritage of blending the latest technology, software and user experience to create an unmatched music experience in the home.”
The Sonos ZP120 is wrapped in the aluminum case and features fan-less design. As a result it makes no noise while in operation. Further it is capable of delivering 55 watts per channel RMS at 8 Ohms. In addition it offers powerful low distortion audiophile quality sound in each of the room. The system easily gets connected to the speakers wirelessly and fills the entire house with music. The ZP120 is available individually in the American market at the price of $499 while it can also be packaged with Sonos Bundle 150 for $999.
On the other hand the Sonos ZonePlayer 90 allows music lovers to pair the system with their favorite audio equipment including a home theater system, powered speakers, or even with a premium table top radio such as Bose Wave Radio. The ZP90 comes in light gray finish. The ZonePlayer 90 retails at $349 individually. Like ZP120, even ZonePlayer 90 can be purchased with Sonos Bundle 150 at the price of $999.
