Uh-oh, someone has just leaked a video showing the unannounced Samsung Galaxy S5 at the MWC 2014. So far, the company has only gone official with the new Galaxy Gear 2 series and it’s giving everyone time to take in the smartwatches before unleashing the much anticipated smartphone.
But among all the hustle and bustle of MWC preparations, it looks like Samsung wasn’t keeping a close eye on who was recording what. Android and Me has just linked to a Taylor Wimberly post containing an Instgram video of the Galaxy S5 lurking in the background as the Gear 2 smartwatches are caught on camera.
The video running up to 13 seconds, has been pulled off Instagram. But somebody managed to get it up onto YouTube before that. It’s posted below in its entirety. The clip shows just the back panel of the phone, but confirms two things at least.
First off, the handset will make an appearance in gray/black, white and gold at least. There may be more colors in the future. Secondly, on the off chance that you were doubting the likelihood of Samsung unveiling the device at the MWC, here it is.
What makes us think it’s the Galaxy S5? Take a look at the camera and the dual LED flash place below it. Doesn’t it remind you of something case maker Spigen, had leaked on Amazon recently?
– Quad core Snapdragon 800 chip OR
– Exynos 5422 Octa processor
– Android 4.4 KitKat OS
– 5.2-inch 1080p/2K display
– 16MP rear camera with dual LED flash
– 2GB or 3GB of RAM
– Regular and Prime variants
The list above mentions all the specs of the Samsung Galaxy S5 that rumors have talked about so far. The release date of the smartphone is speculated for mid-March. Just a few hours until we find out more.
