Adobe updates Creative Cloud with awesome new features

Adobe CC

Users of Adobe’s Creative Cloud are all set to receive a free update that blesses the suite with a number of smart and useful features. Among them is the previously-previewed Content-Aware Crop ability in Photoshop and enhancements to Adobe Stock.

The California-based company has said that this update to its Creative Cloud has been aimed at the ‘pain points’ which designers, photographers and filmmakers face in their everyday lives. And hence, apart from the new features, this suite also receives a number of performance enhancements.

All the applications inside the Creative Cloud receive deeper integration with Adobe Stock. This means one-click access to royalty-free, high-quality photos, videos, illustrations and graphics is now on the cards. Moreover, purchasing premium content has also been made easier by the company with this update.

Photoshop gets its Content-Aware Crop functionality which intelligently fills up gaps in an image if it is rotated or expanded beyond its original image size. You can watch this tool in action in the video we’ve posted above.

Face-Aware Liquify is another addition to Adobe Photoshop. It enables you to easily create artistic effects with facial features while always keeping the faces in proportion. And then there’s a new Match Font trait which is basically a font recognition technology bearing the ability to identify licensed fonts.

Furthermore, After Effects gains from a Character Animator Preview which matches an animated character to a real-life actor’s speech and movements. Lastly, fresh virtual reality (VR) features get added to Premiere Pro, while fast export of assets and artboards is now possible on Illustrator.

Those subscribed to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite can now grab the new update free of cost.
