TomTom app for iPhone with HD Traffic Service

TomTom iPhone App TomTom has sliced in the latest v1.8 update for its iPhone app that promises to deliver accurate and up-to-date traffic solution.

The new version 1.8 of the TomTom app for iPhone is inclusive of HD traffic compatibility. This new functionality brings in accurate solution during traffic jams and helps drivers avoid delays as well as find faster routes. It recognizes traffic conditions for major and secondary roads within the US. It also provides traffic updates every two minutes.

According to the company, drivers indulging into HD Traffic help reduce traffic congestion. The TomTom app also includes multi-stop routes and helps them make multiple stops. It also enables users to add up to five stop-off points and brings to them the latest maps of the most recent road changes.

The upgraded TomTom App for iPhone is now available through the App Store. The optional HD Traffic service can be procured through an in-App purchase for $19.99. Furthermore, existing TomTom Traffic subscribers will automatically upgrade to TomTom HD Traffic service without any extra charges.
