foursquare seems to be having a quite a pleasant run this week. A day after announcing that they have 10 million members to boast about, the folks at foursquare have rolled out an update for the iPhone app which trails along quicker check-ins and an enhanced Explore tab.

Speaking literally and figuratively, the ‘big’ change is a very visible Check In button which loads a list of nearby places quite speedily when tapped. The Explore tab we mentioned before doesn’t just come with a lot of tweaks, it even helps people discover Specials easily.

The standalone shout button is moving out so users’ who want to give a shout will have to enter text while checking in at a place. The idea behind this alteration stems from the reasoning that updates ought to be attached to a check-in.

The post of the official foursquare blog cites that Android and BlackBerry users can also expect to see updates very soon. The 3.2 upgrade works with iOS devices running iOS 4.0 or higher versions.
