The Google Search app for iPad just got overhauled with a number of new features that could help users find content on the internet more easily. The new update brings in an enhanced UI for a faster as well as a more interactive search experience.
To deliver quicker results, the Google Search app for iPad comes equipped with Google Instant which automatically starts to display query results as soon as a letter is entered into the text field without the need of tapping on the search button. Additionally, for better convenience while finding the desired information, it sports a slide-in pane which loads the selected webpage over the search page and allows users to browse through other results whilst the website loads.

But on a tablet, typing can be a challenge. That is why we have created a visual way to explore your search history. Swipe right to view snapshots of pages you’ve visited, stacked and organized by search term. You can also manage your search history from this new view.”
The way an image is displayed has also featured a few changes. With a simple tap, users can conveniently enlarge an image as well as flip through similar ones by simple swiping across the screen. Also, the Instant Previews option allows two or more websites to be compared before selected. The Google Search app for iPad app also hosts a new menu that comprises of Google services like Google News, Calendar and many more. All pages will also sport the +1 button that’s accompanied by the magnifying glass which can be utilized for highlighting a particular section of the website.
The Google Search app for iPad is available on the App Store for tablets on iOS 4.0 and above.
