Amazon.com now announces some great news for BlackBerry owners with a reading fetish. The company has unveiled a new application dubbed as ‘Kindle for BlackBerry’. The offering can be downloaded from the official website absolutely free of cost. Amazon.com brings to a wide selection of BlackBerry devices more than 420,000 books which also include 102 of 112 New York Times Bestsellers.

Packed with Amazon’s Whispersync technology, users can easily save and sync their bookmarks not only on their Kindle and Kindle DX but also on the iPhone, iPod touch, PC and now BlackBerry. The company plans to bring this to the Mac and iPad as well in the near future.
