Creating beautiful castles or favorite animals with colorful Lego bricks has always added to the charm of the classic game. Packaging the indoor game into an entertainment device, Lego system has now announced the availability of the original board game version of Creationary for the iPad in the form an application. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, the latest offering requires iOS 3.1 or later.
Firstly, players have to roll the Lego dice to discover which category among nature, vehicles, buildings, or things they have to start guessing from. Then, the application will begin building an object from that category out of the Lego bricks and gamers have to estimate the correct answer by tapping on one of the four probable answers.
“Lego bricks, whether in physical or digital form, provide hours of shared family fun, and mobile devices are a perfect way to take Lego play on the go. More than 2.5 million people are using our Lego Photo application, so we were inspired to celebrate the success of our new Lego board games with another app that brings Lego bricks to life in an entirely new way,” pointed out Michael McNally, Brand Relations director, Lego Systems.
With hundred models available initially, the Creationary app will be upgraded with many periodic and seasonal model refreshments. To earn more points in the game, players need to determine the right options as quickly as possible. The game will end if users guess an incorrect answer, while the difficulty level will also increase during the advancements of a player.
The Lego Creationary game can be downloaded for free from the App Store.
