Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 and Network Access Control 11.0 launched in India

Symantec Logo Symantec has just announced the introduction of the Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.1 and Symantec Network Access Control 11.0 (codenamed hamlet) security solutions for enterprises.

Symantec Endpoint Protection combines Symantec’s market-leading Symantec AntiVirus product with advanced threat prevention in a single agent to deliver protection against malware for laptops, desktops and servers.

Symantec Endpoint Protection includes proactive technologies that automatically analyze application behaviors and network communications to detect and block attacks.

Also, Symantec Endpoint Protection provides users with integrated antivirus, antispyware, firewall, host-and network-based intrusion prevention solutions (IPS), and application and device control, all in one package.

What’s more; Symantec Endpoint Protection reduces administrative costs that are generally associated with managing multiple endpoint security programs. Symantec’s latest offering combines award-winning technology from Symantec, Sygate, Whole Security and Veritas.

The new version 11.0 is optional module tightly integrated with Symantec Endpoint Protection to help customers discover and evaluate the status of endpoints, provision the appropriate network access and provide remediation capabilities to ensure security policies and standards are met.

Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 and Symantec Network Access Control 11.0 are expected to be globally available in September, and can be purchased directly or through Symantec’s worldwide network of authorized resellers, distributors and systems integrators.
