Microsoft has announced the beta launch of its Live Video Search application, which as a part of the software giant’s revamped web based services. The beta version enables users to key in a search term and access thousands of audio visual clips enlisted with a still photo of the video, along with a brief description of the contents of the video.
Interested beta testers can go here to give Windows Live Video Search a try. Testers also can test drive the search functionality for news, feeds, macros, products, academic content, and more, as part of the Windows Live search beta.
Microsoft has been constantly incorporating services to its Windows Live services portfolio to enhance its online ad revenue. This step has put Microsoft in line after Google Inc., Yahoo Inc. and America Online Inc., who have already offered search engines for online videos.
