One of the leading global providers of data security for consumers, F-Secure Corporation has partnered with Reliance Communications. The partnership will provide data security services and make sure safe surfing for Reliance Communications broadband Internet customers in India.
F-Secure will offer its F-Secure Service Platform for Consumers, a solution that enables Internet Services Providers (ISP’s) to allow their residential and small office customers a comprehensive Internet security solution that will protect their computers against viruses, external attacks, harmful content and spam. The new service will provide direct accessibility to customers having self-subscription module as well.
Reliance Communications is the first Indian broadband service provider to partner with F-Secure to offer security as a value added service integrating the offering into monthly Internet package.

F-Secure Service Platform for Consumers is offered in two packages including Reliance PC Protect Basic and Family Packs. These security packages will include a combination of anti-virus, spyware, firewall, parental and spam control software. The price of the packages hasn’t been declared yet. Reliance broadband packages will also be available without F-Secure services.
