Vodafone and Shaadi.com have teamed up to bring an opportunity for Indians to meet their soul mate via mobile phone. In a plush event held at Mumbai, the two-companies announced the first-of-its kind tie-up in the country that will bring India’s largest matrimony site to the widely used mobile service.
Yes, that is right, users can now avail Shaadi.com matrimonial service through Vodafone in their mobile phones. The service is offered via WAP, text messaging and Voice and users can choose one of these as per their comfort to log in to Shaadi.com. All that the Vodafone customers have to do is access this service by calling 57007 or SMS ‘Shaadi’ to 57007or on Vodafone live! by clicking on shaadi.com link on Vodafone live! This service is powered by Mauj Mobile.
The Shaadi.com matchmaking service has already been made live and Vodafone users can avail it right away.

Explaining the shift of matrimony service provider from Web platform to mobile platform, Nagpal explained that only 4 percent of total Indian population accessed the Web through their desktops. With the latest offering, as much as 25 percent of all the Indians can now access Shaadi.com from anywhere, anytime without being tied up to their PCs.
The Shaadi.com application will be available via Vodafone for the following charges:
