Microsoft and Lionhead Studios have announced the ‘See the Future’, second game add-on for Fable II. The downloadable content will be available in Xbox LIVE Marketplace in May, 2009.
See The Future, worth 560 Microsoft points, features an action-packed journey that involves the players to take the curse off the three mysterious items which are under the possession of Murgo, the Trader.
The three cursed elements offer three quests for the players; namely, The Ghosts of the Snowglobe Quest, The Cursed Knight Quest and The Colosseum.
The Snowglobe Quest features a small village which has people who have turned into ghosts after being cursed, and can turn back to people only after the player defeats the one who cursed them.
The Cursed Knight Quest features, as the name suggest, a cursed knight who is waiting for a hero “hero who has the strength and will to dress up in convincing costumes, even imitating a hobbe or balverine, to save him from his fate”!
The Colosseum is another quest the player’s abilities will be tested in a combat at a place where only greatest heroes have survived.
See The Future also brings along a lot of free unique items which needs to be manually downloaded from Xbox LIVE. These new items include Welley’s soldier helmet and other clothing, a braided ponytail and other hairstyles, psycho Jester make-up, a new hero expression, the back flip trick for canine companions, and a collectible Murgo the Trader gold statue.
