Samsung’s ultra-premium Galaxy Tab S greets us in person through leaked images

A while ago, we had received news that Samsung is busy prepping up a professional-grade tablet named the Galaxy Tab S which comes complete with a 2K display as well as a finger-print scanner. This report has now been corroborated by what appear to be images of it caught in the wild.

As had been known, 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch models of this slate are expected to hit markets, and it’s the latter size which can be spotted in these pictures released by SamMobile. The Galaxy Tab S is being said to mark the return of AMOLED display-equipped tablets from the company, since the last time that happened was back in 2011, with the Tab 7.7.

In a move that’s no surprise, this slate borrows its design cues from the S5. This is made evident by its perforated rear surface, the existence of a finger-print scanner and more. And what about those two large dots on the rear surface which can be seen in the image below. The source of the above mentioned website states that those are meant for some kind of an innovative book cover.

It’s unclear as to when the Samsung Galaxy Tab S will be unveiled to the world, but we’ll have more on it when additional details are out.
