The impressive A series smartphones which Samsung has been releasing in India have one more device to accompany them in the form of the Galaxy A7 which ships with LTE support. This dual SIM handset has been granted a price of Rs 30499, and can be purchased now through the company’s official eStore.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 is distinguished not only by its high-end components, but also by its extremely thin 6.3mm body. This shell houses inside it four 1.7GHz Cortex-A53 cores and four 1GHz Cortex-A53 cores, aside from an Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB worth of RAM, all sitting atop a Snapdragon 615 chipset.
This Samsung phone has been blessed with a 13MP rear camera, while selfies and video calling are taken care of by a 5MP front snapper. Visuals are displayed in 1080p full HD resolution on its 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, and powering this large panel and all of the device’s other components is a 2600mAh battery pack.
Android 4.4 KitKat is the preferred OS of the Galaxy A7, but an update to the 5.0 Lollipop version is expected to hit sometime this year. There’s 16GB of storage onboard the handset, apart from a microSD card slot for further expansions.
