Can’t wait to get your hands on the Samsung Galaxy S5? Well, the smartphone has already gone up for preorder in the UK. Retailer Clove has listed the handset on its website, but it might cost you’re a premium sum. The listing notes that the smartphone will retail for a whopping £599.99 after taxes. This translates to around US$1,000.
What’s worth mentioning is that the said price isn’t likely to be final. The website notes that the official sum is yet to be confirmed. Nevertheless, pre-orders have gone live for the said amount and you can only choose between the black and white models for now. Phones4U has put up registrations pages for the Samsung Galaxy S5 in the electric blue shade as well.
The smartphone is also expected to go on sale through Carphone Warehouse in multiple color options. The Samsung Galaxy S5 went official only a few days back at the MWC 2014. The company has chosen the same design it used for the S4 on the latest flagship, but has made a few modifications. First and foremost, the handset is IP67 certified dust- and water-resistant. Samsung has chosen to go for a dotted texture pattern for the rear panel instead of the weaved-leather finish seen on the Note 3 and the Galaxy S4 LTE-A.
