We’ve already seen what the Note 3 Neo looks like and the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite has gone official. What’s left is the Galaxy Grand Neo which has now been confirmed thanks to the product page going live on the company’s website. Apart from this, a retailer in the Netherlands has puts the device up for grabs at €260.
We’ve seen the Galaxy Grand Neo get leaked numerous times over the past few months. The device was initially known as the Grand Lite. Earlier this month, a leak provided proof of the device’s existence through screenshots of promotional material for the smartphone. Like the Note 3 Neo, this handset looks no different from the Grand 2. The phone, however, has a smaller form factor, carrying a 5-inch display which is the same size as the original model that launched in 2012.
The official website notes that the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo will deliver visuals in WVGA 480 x 800 resolution which is quite disappointing. On the upside, it comes with a quad core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a 2,100mAh battery that can deliver up to 11 hours of talktime or 8 hours of browsing over 3G.
The listing at online retailer Belsimpel was spotted by GSMinfo.nl. The Galaxy Grand Neo is being offered with dual SIM slots and it’s available to purchase as well. Carrier pricing for the smartphone is also available at the source. So if you’re in the Netherlands and looking to grab a unit early, you know where to find one.
