If you don’t see the word Galaxy in the name of a Samsung smartphone, it’s overly safe to assume that it does not run Android. So is the case with the new Z3 device which the company has launched in India as its latest Tizen-based smartphone.
The device costs Rs 8490 which is really not that bad, considering the kind of specifications that have been granted to it. The Samsung Z3 features a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 720p HD resolution and an 8MP main camera, among other impressive components.
The Z3 is all set to go on sale in India via offline retailers and the Snapdeal website next week. It will be made available in the form of gold, black and silver color options.
Running Samsung’s Tizen 2.4 OS, this phone boasts of two important software features, namely the Ultra Data Saving Mode and the Ultra Power Saving Mode. While the former can reduce mobile data usage by up to 40 percent, the latter is capable of keeping the device on standby for up to 33 hours with less than 10 percent of battery life.
