Samsung Z3 launched in India at just Rs 8490, runs Tizen

If you don’t see the word Galaxy in the name of a Samsung smartphone, it’s overly safe to assume that it does not run Android. So is the case with the new Z3 device which the company has launched in India as its latest Tizen-based smartphone.

The device costs Rs 8490 which is really not that bad, considering the kind of specifications that have been granted to it. The Samsung Z3 features a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 720p HD resolution and an 8MP main camera, among other impressive components.

The Z3 is all set to go on sale in India via offline retailers and the Snapdeal website next week. It will be made available in the form of gold, black and silver color options.
