Samsung has just taken the veil off its fresh ATIV Book 9 laptops which come pre-installed with the Windows 10 OS from Microsoft. There are two different laptops included in this range, with one having grabbed the suffix Pro and the other, Spin.
First let us speak about the Samsung ATIV Book 9 Pro which is the higher end model among the two. It’s highlighted by a 15.6-inch 4K display (3840 x 2160 pixels) that can provide real-time HDR enhancements.
The ATIV Book 9 Pro laptop features the Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor, which is assisted by 8GB worth of RAM. Ultra-fast storage performance is also on offer, thanks to the fact that a 256GB SSD has been granted to this offering. Furthermore, it features the Nvidia GeForce GTX950M GPU as well.
Samsung has even equipped it with four speakers and a USB Type-C port. The notebook however is falling behind in battery life, as it offers just 6.5 hours’ worth of juice.
Coming to the ATIV Book 9 Spin, it comes with a 13.3-inch QHD+ (3200 x 1800 pixel) monitor with real-time HDR enhancements. Staying true to its name, this laptop’s display allows you to rotate it a full 360 degrees in order to enable different viewing modes.
An Intel Core i7 Processor 6500U processor has made its way inside it, aside from 8GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD and dual speakers. As for the battery life, it has been rated to offer up to 7.3 hours of juice on a single complete charge.
The new Samsung ATIV Book 9 Pro as well as the ATIV Book 9 Spin will be released later this month in the US at $1599 and $1399, respectively.
