With the newly launched Samsung MV900F camera, users will be able to conveniently snap up self-portraits from any angle through the rotating display. What’s more, the device is Wi-Fi-enabled and features the company’s Gesture Shot mode which allows users to zoom and snap up images through simple hand movements.
Said to be a leader in the compact camera category, the snapper houses an f2.5 bright 25mm wide lens with a 16.3MP BSI CMOS sensor for clicking high quality images even in low-lit environments. A 3.3-inch WVGA AMOLED 180-degree flip-out MultiView touchscreen takes care of visuals, while the camera also boasts of its 5x optical zoom capabilities for capturing objects at a distance.

Apart from still images, users will be able to capture videos recorded in 1920 x 1080p full HD resolutions at 30fps. Being Wi-Fi-enabled, the Samsung MV900F camera can easily connect with the company’s line of Smart devices including TV sets, Blu-ray players, mobile PCs and smartphones. Additionally, it comes with the Low Light Shot mode which automatically carries out adjustments to the settings for shooting in low-light conditions. Here, blurs and noise are canceled out by merging 3 continuous shots into one.
The Samsung MV900F price amounts to $349.99 and it will be available for purchase in the US through authorized Samsung retailers in late August. Potential users will also have 2 color options to choose from, namely white and black.
