Samsung Metal 5 Mobile Phone launched in India

Samsung Electronics has launched the Metal 5 mobile phone in India, extending the company’s successful lineup of Metal Series phones in the country. This handset happens to be the world’s slimmest phone to feature a 5 mega pixel camera to date.

The Samsung Metal 5 mobile phone is a slider phone with a metallic finish. According to Samsung, this particular handset is a perfect marriage of design, photography and multimedia.

The Metal 5 sports a 2.2-inch LCD screen with 16 million color resolution. This phone offers the best in imaging ranging from image correction to capturing the widest view with panorama shot. Alternatively, users can also view images played directly on TV with TV Out or they could also wirelessly print out images using Bluetooth printing.

Multimedia features of the Samsung Metal 5 handset include an embedded MP3 player and stereo FM radio. The user can enjoy music through a wireless stereo headset using the phone’s Bluetooth capabilities.

The Metal 5 offers improved Internet browsing features, allowing users to benefit from NetFront Browser v3.4, which provides PC-like browser capabilities on a mobile phone.

Security features of Samsung’s newest Metal Series phone include a mobile tracker, emergency SMS alert and a privacy lock.
