Samsung’s launched the Galaxy J1 (4G) in India, looking to target the entry-level market sector in the country. The phone has accordingly been priced at a best buy rate of Rs 6890.
Diving straight into its features, the Galaxy J1 (4G) runs on the outdated Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Marshmallow is increasingly becoming the norm among budget handsets, so the handset’s software might be seen as a major drawback for some people. The key advantage here is Samsung’s suite of India-specific services.
For instance, users of the Galaxy J1 (4G) can take advantage of tools like Ultra Data Saving Mode to save up to 50% of their data. There’s also the brand’s S Bike mode to make travelling on a motorcycle stress-free and S Power Planning to conserve battery fuel.
