Samsung likes to pretty up its collection of smartphones now and again, so it’s no surprise to see the Galaxy Fame Lite, Galaxy Core and Galaxy Trend having joined the Galaxy S4 and its mini version in the company’s La Fleur series. For some reason, they’re only available in Russia right now and there’s no word on whether they’ll hit other markets at a later point. If a glittering Galaxy is what you’re looking for, then Samsung also had its S4 and S3 mini handsets rolling in Swarovski crystals.
Samsung La Fleur Collection
It’s a little difficult to get the appeal of these ‘feminized’ Galaxy smartphones. But there’s obviously a market for it or Samsung wouldn’t be wasting its time doing this. The company has introduced other La Fleur edition handsets in the past. They include the Galaxy Ace Duos, Galaxy S Duos, Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Ace Duos.
SamMobile notes that the floral patterns are the only things setting apart these special edition phones from their original versions. The internals will remain the same. Samsung hasn’t troubled itself much with the design on the cover, it’s just the same pinkish print on all the devices whether it’s maroon or white in the background.
Samsung Galaxy S4 and S4 mini Black Edition
GSMArena also stumbled into the Galaxy S4 and S4 mini sporting black textured rear cases, through a Russian website. The former is pegged at RUB 23,000 ($660), while the latter will cost RUB 16,000 ($460) when they are launched. The official Samsung page carrying the products have been inaccessible for the past 15 hours or so.
