Samsung i900 Omnia Phone Here’s presenting another phone that steps in competition with the king of all phones, the iPhone. Samsung revealed its latest i900 Omnia phone which shows off its sleek finish and feature-filled package.

The Samsung i900 Omnia brings along with it Windows Mobile 6.1 operating systems and 7.2 HSDPA capabilities. To provide an edge over the competition, the i900 features a 5MP camera with smile detection and geo-tagging features which betters the 2MP camera of the iPhone. The phone supports quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE capabilities. The large 3.2 inch QVGA display presents a resolution of 400 x 240 pixels

With a USB port for quick transfers, the FM radio with RDS and stereo Bluetooth make this phone great to use and it delivers a good quality experience. The phone uses Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface and will be available in versions of 8 GB and 16 GB.

Samsung’s latest creation is set to give neck-to-neck competition to the 3G iPhone as the i900 arrives in the European markets by June this year. The arrival date of the Samsung i900 is also more or less the same as the 3G iPhone which clearly reveals the fierce competition displayed by Samsung. Pricing of this phone hasn’t been revealed as yet.
