Samsung has launched a bar-type smartphone named i200. The latest phone is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 and supports Office formats such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Moreover, users can access internet and emails too. The key feature of the i200 phone would be the HSDPA 3.6 Mbps data communications. The phone is as thin as 11.8 mm.
Another salient feature of the Samsung i200 smartphone is its unique light sensor. This sensor helps users to minimize the power consumption to adjust lightness of LCD and keypad automatically.
Internal memory of the phone is just 26MB. However to expand the storage capacity the phone is well equipped with a MicroSD slot. FM radio, other connectivity options such as A2DP, USB, Bluetooth are some of the other features of the i200.
Samsung i200 smartphone is expected to hit the European market in June 2008. Pricing information has not been revealed by Samsung as of now.
