Samsung’s Gear Fit2 Pro and Gear Sport have officially made its way to India after making a splash at the IFA 2017 in August this year. Both are set to go up for sale starting from December.

The Gear Fit2Pro will burn a Rs 13590-sized hole in your pocket, while the Gear Sport will set you back by Rs 22990. The 2018 edition of the IconX was absent from Samsung launch event for the wearables and it’s not clear when or if the wireless earbuds will arrive and what its price tag will be.

On the surface, the main difference between the GearFit2Pro and Gear Sport is the fact that the first is a fitness band and the second a smartwatch. Both come equipped with a heart rate monitor, auto activity detection, 5 ATM or 50m water resistance, and a MIL-STD-810G rating.

Samsung’s confident that swimmers will be able to leap into the pool and track their laps and stroke type without causing any damage to either wearable. However, it’s not meant for diving or other high-pressure water activities.

The Tizen-based Gear Sport has the same movable bezel as before and supports Samsung Pay for cashless payments. You can also stream music online or offline via the Spotify app and store up to 500 songs using the 4GB of storage inside. Visuals are displayed through a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED 360 x 360p screen which offers Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

As for the Gear Fit2 Pro, the band stands out with specs like a curved 1.5-inch super AMOLED 216 x 432p panel with the same Gorilla Glass 3 layer. Samsung’s partnered up with Under Armour to include apps like MapMyRun and MyFitnessPal to help you plan your routines and maintain a healthy diet.
