Samsung Galaxy View unveiled as largest Android mobile device in market

A new and interesting piece of machinery from Samsung, called the Galaxy View has just come forth. This device is meant to be a tablet, but it bears an uncharacteristically large display of 18.4 inches in size.

The Samsung Galaxy View is indeed a niche product that has been built to sit on your kitchen counters for quick consumption of media. It has hence been blessed with a video-optimized user interface and long battery life.

Dubbed the largest Android mobile device on the market, the Galaxy View comes with two-way kickstand that can double up as a handle. The 18.4-inch display on this device presents its visuals in 1080p full HD resolution, resulting in a pixel density count of just 123ppi.

Samsung has equipped the tablet with a 1.6GHz octa core processor and 2GB worth of RAM. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and bears a special home screen which provides easy access to apps like Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go, YouTube and more.

The Galaxy View of course supports Wi-Fi, but it’s also supposed to ship in the form of an LTE model. Storage space can be chosen to be 32GB of 64GB, but the former option should be sufficient for many given that the tablet comes with a microSD card slot as well.

A quick glance at the specs of the Samsung Galaxy View:
