The Samsung Galaxy Stellar Verizon price and release date information is officially out now, and the phone will go up for sale tomorrow along with the LG Intuition. It runs on the carrier’s 4G LTE network speed and is aimed at first-time smartphone users.
This device boasts of delivering maximum download and upload speeds of 12Mbps and 5Mbps, respectively. Its WVGA display provides a multi-touch real estate of 4 inches and renders clear visuals in 800 x 480p resolution. A 3.2MP rear auto focus camera is accompanied by a 1.3MP front-facing webcam to facilitate clicking pictures, recording videos and making video calls. The phone is embedded with an expansion slot, which extends support to a microSD card of up to 32GB capacity.
It is fueled by a 1.2GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon application chipset and its intuitive, user-friendly interface can be attributed to the Ice Cream Sandwich platform. But, the company hasn’t mentioned if the smartphone will receive the Jelly Bean update or not. Needless to say, it can be used to browse through the Google Play store and tags along Google Mobile services like Gmail, YouTube, Google Maps, Google Talk and more.
The handset’s built-in Wi-Fi offers access to the internet, while VPN and MDM support, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and On Device Encryption protect data saved on it. It is even pre-loaded with applications such as Kindle, Audible, MP3, Shopping, Zappos, IMDB, Samsung Media Hub and the Help app amnogst others.
