Following its international debut at the Mobile World Congress, the Samsung Galaxy S7 series is all set for its unveiling in India at 12pm today. The launch will be taking place at the Le Meridien hotel in New Delhi at noon. Invitations for the event have been sent out to the press.
It will also be live streamed for fans who are eagerly waiting for the two new smartphones to hit stores in India. Folks who want to witness the launch as it happens can head over to this page. All we’re waiting for now is the price. According to our source, the cost of the S7 Edge will start at Rs 60000. This is very close to last year’s rates; so we suppose Samsung knows it hasn’t exactly rocked our world with regards to new features for its flagship series.
There are a few differences between the curved S7 Edge and the flat screen S7. The former has a larger 5.5-inch panel and a bigger 3600mAh battery. Both boast of an ‘always on display’ which is automatically disabled when the battery’s running low or the device is face down or in a bag/pocket.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge offers some extras courtesy of its curved side. It can be transformed into a flashlight, ruler or compass. It now enables quick access to a maximum of 9 tasks or apps. Plus, both phones in the series are resistant to water and dust to a certain extent.
